Come and stay with us

Stow-on-the-Wold is a charming old Cotswold wool town, perched beside the historic Fosse Way — the Roman road that once ran from Exeter to Lincoln. From its wide market square to its honey-stone houses, antique stores, galleries, gift shops and welcoming tea rooms, it’s the kind of place that looks and feels exactly like the Cotswolds you imagine.

Cotswold Cottage Guesthouse is perfectly placed in the centre of Stow on characterful Digbeth Street. Walk out the door and you’re just steps from one of England’s oldest pubs, along with cosy cafés, independent boutiques and great places to eat. With the Cotswold Hills on your doorstep, you’ll also have easy access to beautiful walking trails, bridleways and cycle routes — ideal for a laid-back countryside break.

You’ll find a relaxed, friendly place to stay right in the heart of the Cotswolds, with comfort and character in equal measure. The guesthouse is set within a handsome Grade II listed building, with our rooms located on the upper floors — full of period charm and thoughtful touches.

Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with family, or as a small group of friends, there’s an option to fit your trip. Dane and the team pride themselves on making you feel at home from the moment you arrive, and starting each day the best way — with a freshly prepared breakfast and local tips for exploring the area.
